Videographer / Video Editor at Kaplo Africa

About the Role

Kaplo Africa is seeking a skilled Videographer and Video Editor to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This position requires a creative professional with strong technical expertise in video production and digital content creation.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Film/Media Studies, Fine Arts, or related field
• Diploma or certificate course in videography, cinematography, or digital media
• Own camera equipment required to perform the job
• Portfolio with two samples of previous video editing work

Required Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in videography, video editing, or media production
• Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
• Hands-on expertise in camera operation, lighting, and sound recording
• Strong storytelling ability and creativity in visual presentation
• Solid understanding of YouTube algorithms, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and digital content optimization
• Experience with live streaming video and audio in real-time
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, PDF, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDraw, and Canva
• Experience with media production and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, Google Forms, Instagram)

Compensation

N70,000 per month
