Utilities Supervisor

Position Overview

Harvest Feed and Agro Processing Limited is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Utilities Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety of all utility systems within the organization. The successful candidate will ensure uninterrupted utility services, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient utilization of resources across company facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of utility systems, including power supply, generators, water systems, boilers, HVAC, and other related utilities
• Ensure optimal performance and safety of all utility equipment in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Monitor utility consumption and implement cost-control and energy-efficiency measures
• Supervise utility personnel, technicians, and external service providers
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and incidents
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
• Promptly identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a utilities supervision role, preferably within a manufacturing or agro-processing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial utility systems
• Good leadership, coordination, and supervisory skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to operational emergencies
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
