## Title: UI/UX Designer
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of UI/UX Designer at Venus67 Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Collect and evaluate user requirements with the help of product managers and engineers
- Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts
- Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets
- Create page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly demonstrate site functionality and appearance
- Create unique graphic designs
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and resolve UX issues
- Make layout adjustments based on user feedback while adhering to font, color, and image style guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in agile development environments
Key Skills
- Ability to design visually appealing interfaces, including layout, color, and typography
- Ability to build structural layouts and create interactive prototypes to test user flow
- Conducting interviews, surveys, and other research methods to understand user needs and behaviors
- Organizing and structuring content in a clear and logical manner
- Observing and analyzing user interactions with designs to identify improvement areas
- Crafting clear and concise text for user interfaces
- Understanding of web and mobile application development fundamentals
