Truck Driver

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - We are seeking a highly responsible and experienced Truck Driver to operate fuel tankers with capacity of up to 60,000 litres. - The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong safety awareness, compliance with road regulations, and the ability to handle petroleum product transportation professionally and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate and transport petroleum products using tankers up to 60,000 litres capacity. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper documentation. - Ensure strict compliance with safety, traffic, and company regulations. - Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary waybills and signatures. - Monitor loading and offloading processes to prevent product loss or contamination. - Report mechanical faults, incidents, or delays promptly. - Ensure vehicle cleanliness and basic routine maintenance checks. Requirements: - Must reside in Imo State or available to relocate - Valid Driver’s License (appropriate class for articulated vehicles). - Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving articulated trucks, preferably fuel tankers. - Good knowledge of road safety regulations and interstate routes. - Ability to read and interpret delivery documents. - Strong understanding of safety procedures for handling petroleum products. - Physically fit and medically sound.
