Transport Supervisor

Position Overview: - We are seeking a proactive and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations, manage fleet activities, and coordinate third-party transporters. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, regulatory compliance, and efficient transport performance across all operational sites. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transport operations - Manage internal fleet and external transporters - Ensure truck availability for ports, warehouses, and customer deliveries - Monitor delivery schedules and resolve operational issues - Negotiate transporter rates and monitor performance - Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and transport regulations - Maintain accurate transport records and reports - Conduct site visits to ports and warehouses when required Requirements: - Experience in transport/logistics supervision (chemical industry preferred) - Strong knowledge of Lagos transport operations and port processes - Good negotiation and communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills - Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
