Transport Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Transport or fleet management. - Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems is an added advantage. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Good knowledge of route planning, logistics, and vehicle maintenance. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage the transport budget and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth logistics support. - Plan, coordinate, and manage daily transport operations. - Supervise drivers and transport staff to ensure punctuality and professionalism. - Develop and implement effective routing strategies to optimize delivery schedules. - Monitor vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and operating costs. - Ensure compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and company policies. - Prepare and maintain accurate transport-related reports and documentation.
