## Title: Tracker Technician Supervisor

Role Overview

An established company is recruiting for a Tracker Technician Supervisor to oversee the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vehicle tracking and telematics systems across the fleet and partner networks.

This role combines technical field supervision, platform monitoring, and process leadership to ensure that all tracking devices, sensors, and IoT systems are accurately installed, operational, and transmitting real-time data to the monitoring platforms. The position requires a detail-oriented and hands-on leader with strong diagnostic, coordination, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of tracker installation technicians across multiple field locations
  • Plan and assign work schedules to ensure timely installation, configuration, and maintenance of tracking systems
  • Conduct quality control checks after each installation to verify data accuracy, wiring integrity, and system performance
  • Mentor and support field technicians to improve technical competence and productivity

Technical Operations & Monitoring

  • Oversee installation and calibration of GPS trackers, fuel sensors, and IoT telematics devices on all fleet vehicles
  • Continuously monitor tracker platforms to ensure devices are active, connected, and transmitting accurate data
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve tracker connectivity issues, data gaps, and configuration errors in real time
  • Escalate persistent platform or hardware issues to the Fleet Technology and IT teams for resolution
  • Manage tracker SIM card activation, replacement, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Ensure smooth integration between installed trackers and the central monitoring system

Process Management & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for installation, monitoring, and maintenance activities
