## Title: TPM Engineer
Job Purpose
The TPM Engineer will be responsible for driving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives across the plant to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. The role will focus on embedding a culture of continuous improvement through structured methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, OEE monitoring, RPM (Reliability & Preventive Maintenance), and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement TPM strategies across all production and maintenance activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen methodology to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
- Develop, implement, and sustain 5S standards across shop-floor and maintenance areas
- Monitor, analyze, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for critical equipment
- Plan and implement SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) projects to reduce changeover times
- Oversee Reliability & Preventive Maintenance (RPM) programs to ensure high machine availability
- Identify equipment performance gaps and lead root cause analysis (RCA) to implement corrective actions
- Promote and enforce compliance with safety policies, ensuring TPM activities support a safe workplace
- Train operators and technicians in TPM practices to build ownership and sustain improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain) to align TPM initiatives with business goals
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline)
- 2 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering role with proven TPM implementation
- Strong knowledge of TPM pillars, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, OEE, RPM, and safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing tools and root cause analysis
