## Title: Ticketing & Reservations Officer

Job Summary

The Ticketing & Reservations Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of travel and ticketing bookings for clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. This role involves utilizing Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to book flights, accommodations, and other travel-related services, while adhering to company policies and industry regulations in Nigeria and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Reservations and Ticketing Management

  • Process flight, hotel, and other travel-related reservations (e.g., car rentals, tours) using computerized reservation systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo
  • Issue, re-issue, and re-validate tickets accurately and efficiently
  • Handle changes, cancellations, and refunds for unused and partly used tickets in line with airline fare rules, IATA regulations, and company policy
  • Calculate and quote accurate fares, taxes, and fees for local and international travel

Customer Service and Consultation

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding travel options, routes, schedules, fares, and visa requirements
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on travel itineraries and packages tailored to the client's budget and preferences
  • Resolve booking-related issues, complaints, and disputes with professionalism to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Confirm and send detailed travel itineraries and confirmation details to customers

Sales and Revenue Maximisation

  • Actively sell and promote various travel products, including holiday packages, travel insurance, ticketing and upgraded services (up-selling and cross-selling)
  • Follow up on client quotes to convert them into confirmed bookings and maximize sales opportunities
  • Assist in building and managing corporate and individual client relationships to drive customer loyalty
