Ticketing & Reservations Officer

About the Role

TGM Education is seeking a qualified Ticketing & Reservations Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing flight ticketing, reservations, and customer service while supporting our sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clients with accurate information on flight schedules, fares, and travel services
• Issue, re-issue, and cancel airline tickets using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo
• Handle reservations, refunds, and re-bookings in line with airline policies
• Manage payments, invoicing, and maintain accurate transaction records
• Assist in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Ensure compliance with travel regulations and visa requirements
• Generate daily and weekly sales reports for management
• Promote additional services such as travel insurance and holiday packages

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field
• 2–3 years' proven experience in ticketing and travel sales
• Proficiency with at least one GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of ticketing, fares, and reservations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Sales-driven with strong negotiation ability
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
