Therapist at Ike Foundation for Autism

About the Role

An established organization is seeking a Therapist to deliver therapeutic support and care to children with autism. You will work as part of a dedicated team to implement individualized therapy plans and support families in their child's developmental journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver or assist with therapy sessions, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and applied behavior analysis
• Execute individualized therapy plans designed in collaboration with lead therapists
• Provide guidance and basic support to parents and caregivers during and after therapy sessions to reinforce progress at home
• Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and child development reports
• Work closely with educators, therapists, and other staff members to ensure integrated and holistic care for children
• Participate actively in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities to improve knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or HND in a related field such as Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Public Health, Special Education, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or other relevant disciplines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to supporting children and families

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with children with autism or special needs
