Theatre Nurse

Position Overview: - Prepare patients for surgical procedures and ensure they are positioned correctly. - Sterilize, arrange, and manage surgical instruments and equipment before each operation. - Maintain strict aseptic techniques and uphold infection control standards in the operating theatre. - Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating their needs. - Monitor and record patients’ vital signs throughout surgical procedures. - Perform accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps before, during, and after surgery. - Support patients during post-operative recovery and assist in transferring them to the recovery room. - Document surgical procedures, nursing interventions, and patient information accurately. - Ensure the operating theatre is clean, organized, and fully stocked for each procedure. - Collaborate with the surgical team and follow all hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Requirements: - Candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 2–5 years experience. Salary N298,500 monthly.
