Tender / Commercial Officer

About the Role

Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH) is seeking a qualified Tender and Commercial Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is central to managing our tender processes, commercial activities, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all tenders received are packaged and submitted in accordance with client tender instructions and requirements before the submission deadline
• Manage all RFQs and ensure quotations and commercial responses are submitted to clients in a timely manner
• Verify that all insurances, licenses, and permits covering the company's services are procured and maintained as valid
• Develop and prepare technical proposals and reports
• Plan and prepare presentations, exhibitions, and conferences
• Manage contracts, administer projects, and monitor progress
• Prepare project post-delivery documentation (JCC, customer feedback forms, and timesheets) in accordance with purchase orders and executed work, ensuring endorsement by the execution team
• Maintain understanding of all Original Equipment Manufacturers represented by the company
• Stay current with industry trends and standards to ensure continuous improvement
• Maintain proper departmental documentation and records
• Execute all business and commercial activities, including client and vendor registration, information updates on client portals, prompt responses to client requests, and processing of corporate documentation prior to expiration
• Assist with sales and marketing activities, including OEM-based request quotes
• Channel product and service enquiries to the appropriate department and ensure timely responses to clients

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc, B.Tech, or B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or Sciences with specialization in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
