Telesales Representative

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - The Telesales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products over the phone, managing customer inquiries, and closing sales orders. - This role requires excellent communication skills, persuasive ability, and a strong customer service orientation to achieve set sales targets and contribute to business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about products, promotions, and offers. - Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions. - Accurately record customer information and order details in the CRM system. - Follow up on leads and maintain active communication with customers to close sales. - Handle inbound and outbound sales calls professionally and efficiently. - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. - Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs. - Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. - Provide feedback from customers to the sales and marketing teams for product improvement. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Number of calls made per day/week - Sales conversion rate - Revenue generated - Customer retention and repeat purchase rate - Accuracy of order processing. Requirements: - Minimum of OND/NCE; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage. - Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service (preferably in FMCG, retail, or cosmetics). - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong persuasive ability and confidence in closing sales. - Good computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or call management software. - Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision. - A positive attitude and resilience in handling rejection. - Applicant must reside within and around Okota/Isolo.
