Role Summary
The Technology Sales Manager will drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, strategic account development, and channel partnerships across Nigeria and Africa. This role requires a highly experienced enterprise technology sales leader with deep expertise in telecom infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, ERP, and digital transformation solutions.
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with technical knowledge to engage C-level executives, position complex solutions, and close high-value deals across industries including BFSI, Fintech, Retail, FMCG, Telecommunications, and Public Sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across target sectors (BFSI, Fintech, Telecom, Retail, FMCG, Public Sector)
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities
- Position tailored technology solutions including:
- Mobile Core Networks (2G/3G/4G/5G)
- Cloud services and hybrid architectures
- Cybersecurity solutions
- ERP and enterprise applications
- Data analytics and AI-enabled platforms
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets
- Expand into new markets across Africa through direct and channel sales
Channel & Partner Development
- Establish and manage relationships with resellers, system integrators, telecom operators, and OEM partners
- Negotiate channel agreements and joint business plans
- Drive partner-led sales initiatives and ensure partner performance
- Enable partners through training, solution support, and go-to-market alignment
- Ensure compliance with distribution channel policies
Client Relationship Management
- Engage C-suite executives and senior stakeholders across enterprises
- Conduct needs assessments and deliver solution presentations
