## Title: Technical Trainer III

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Technical Trainer III to develop and deliver technical training programs that enhance professional skills and competencies across our organization. In this role, you will serve as a key interface between training teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and governance councils, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

Main Functions

  • Develop comprehensive technical training programs that build professional skills and expertise
  • Serve as a key interface between training, competency curriculum SMEs, the training organization, and governance councils
  • Develop and maintain global curriculum to establish proper training plans and roadmaps within assigned functional areas
  • Support SCORR (Safety, Compliance, Operational, Regulatory, and Required) training initiatives essential for safe, environmentally responsible, reliable, and efficient operations of Production, Manufacturing, and Midstream assets and organizations

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills when collaborating with line management and governing bodies (PLC, MLC, TLC, SSHELC, etc.) to apply Global Operations Training system requirements
  • Establish, certify, and track compliance with SCORR training and skills development initiatives within manufacturing, operations, and support organizations
  • Work directly with Training Supervisors to ensure site training plans comply with and meet governance council expectations and best practices
  • Work in concert with subject matter experts and Competency and Training Advisors to define final training product requirements and ensure global training objectives are achieved
  • Provide support on instructional system design (ISD) to ensure learning management systems support competency and training best practices and processes (e.g., GOTS, GMT)
  • Optimize and develop database systems to support training and competency initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced technical knowledge and expertise in relevant field
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with training program development and curriculum design
  • Knowledge of instructional system design (ISD) principles
  • Experience with learning management systems and training best practices
