Job description
A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent.
Purpose:
- Provision of technical expertise to support sales activities, provision of solutions-based customer engagement, and provision of pre- and post sales technical support to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
KRA 1: Sales & Customer Engagement
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
- Present technical solutions to clients to meet their needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Provide technical demonstrations and presentations to clients.
KRA 2: Technical Support & Solution Design
- Collaborate with engineering teams to propose customised solutions.
- Analyse client requirements and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Prepare technical documentation for proposals and quotations.
- Resolve technical queries from clients promptly.
- Support product testing or trials as needed.
KRA 3: Market Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide feedback on competitor products and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate sales and technical reports for management.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend improvements.
- Support marketing initiatives with technical input and product knowledge.
Specification
- B.Eng./B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.MBA/M.Sc. is an added advantage.
- Professional membership in relevant engineering or sales bodies is advantageous.
- 3–7 years of experience in technical sales.
