## Title: Technical Director, Nutrition Programming
About the Role
This position offers a significant opportunity for career growth in nutrition leadership. You will provide strategic technical direction for all nutrition-related components of a health initiative, working with government partners and development stakeholders to strengthen community and facility-based nutrition systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for all nutrition-related components of the project
- Lead development of evidence-based strategies and high-quality implementation guidelines
- Oversee technical quality assurance, capacity-building, and supervision of project teams
- Support Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) processes, ensuring accurate tracking of nutrition indicators
- Review technical reports, success stories, and learning documentation
- Serve as technical liaison with state and local health authorities, health sector working groups, and development partners
- Guide innovations and best practices to strengthen community and facility nutrition systems
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Health Policy, Medicine, or related field
- 7–10 years of technical leadership experience in donor-funded nutrition or Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) programs
- Expertise in Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF), community health systems, and evidence-based nutrition programming
- Strong technical writing, data interpretation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and mentorship
