## Title: Tech Sales Officer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our sales team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth through identifying sales opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities and follow the Sambus Sales Cycle to achieve annual sales targets
  • Network and build connections to develop new accounts and create a potential sales pipeline
  • Develop sales documents, prepare quotes, and complete sales-related administration tasks
  • Provide outstanding after-sales services and manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction with a minimum 4-star rating (out of 5) in your assigned vertical
  • Collaborate with the Finance & Operations Unit and Tech team to ensure products are ordered and delivered within agreed timelines
  • Drive repeat sales by reviewing customer purchase history and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Ensure customer loyalty by generating and suggesting added value services that end-users within client organizations can access from purchased products
  • Keep product knowledge and technical skills current through ongoing training, workshops, and career development programmes
  • Accept ownership for generating, maintaining, and expanding sales and value-addition services in your assigned vertical
  • Produce periodic operational reports to your line manager and provide feedback on market and customer developments
  • Conduct client and vertical research to stay updated on industry developments and trends, building expertise to better serve clients and potential clients

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience
