Team Lead – Power Plant Electrical Engineer at BU Power Limited

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Power Plant Electrical Engineer to operate, supervise, and manage the electrical systems and maintenance activities of gas-fired power plants. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on and leadership experience with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 generator sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise the maintenance of MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 gas engines
• Lead and coordinate the electrical maintenance team to ensure optimal plant performance
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Monitor plant performance and prepare technical and maintenance reports
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades of electrical systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance
• Proven experience working with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 engines
• Strong knowledge of power plant electrical systems, switchgear, control panels, and protection systems
