Team Lead, IT Infrastructure at Alert Microfinance Bank

Role Overview

The Team Lead, IT Infrastructure will lead and supervise the Infrastructure and DevOps unit, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and compliance across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. This role plays a critical part in DevOps adoption, automation, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the IT Infrastructure team (DevOps/Cloud & System/Network Engineers)
• Design, deploy, and manage on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Administer and secure servers, networks, virtualization (VMware/HyperV), Active Directory & IAM
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) workloads
• Ensure 99.9%+ uptime through monitoring, incident management, and disaster recovery
• Enforce security, compliance, and risk controls (CBN, NDIC, ISO 27001)
• Lead infrastructure projects, vendor management, and cost optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years in IT Infrastructure, with 1+ year in a supervisory role
• Strong experience in FinTech, Banking, Microfinance, or regulated environments

Required Technical Expertise

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Linux administration, networking, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and virtualization
