Objective

To preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets by providing assurance that established IT controls are adequate, while identifying and recommending improvements in areas where controls are weak or failing.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and audit planning
• Evaluate internal controls and IT systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
• Report on issues and recommend improvements
• Facilitate remediation efforts and conduct follow-up reviews
• Perform daily auditing activities and continuous monitoring
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery audits
• Stay current with industry trends and evolve audit practices accordingly
• Maintain clear documentation of audit scope, procedures, evidence, and findings
• Benchmark data during follow-up work and maintain audit documentation for transparency
• Regulate the application and ensure correct use of artificial intelligence in audit activities
• Ensure compliance with ITGC policies and keep the team informed of developments in this area
