This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The Tax and Audit Officer will manage tax planning, compliance, and audits while ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and minimizing financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

• File tax returns (CIT, VAT, PAYE, WHT)
• Develop and implement tax strategies
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations
• Liaise with tax authorities on compliance matters
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Review financial controls and procedures
• Resolve audit findings and issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum second class upper)
• 2–4 years of tax and audit experience (oil & gas industry experience is an advantage)
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or ICAN) is required

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and audit standards
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting software

Compensation
