Survey & Network Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Survey & Network Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing robust network infrastructure, conducting comprehensive site assessments, and ensuring all projects meet industry standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop network designs using tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, and GIS
• Create Bills of Quantities (BoQs), schematic diagrams, and project scopes
• Conduct site assessments for LAN, WLAN, GPON, and CCTV systems
• Capture geo-coordinates and document terrain layout and site conditions
• Revise designs based on field feedback and assessment findings
• Share real-time field data with the design team for continuous collaboration
• Inspect installations to ensure adherence to industry standards
• Identify snags and verify their correction
• Prepare quality assurance and compliance reports
• Maintain safety and functional standards throughout all projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and local telecommunications regulations

Required Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in network design and implementation
• Proficiency in fiber-optic and wireless network design
• Proficiency with network design tools (Visio, Edraw, or AutoCAD)

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications
• Experience with network simulation tools
• Knowledge of local telecommunications regulations
