Structural Engineer at Xpedient Expatriate Services

Role Summary

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide in-house structural design and oversee general site supervision to ensure building projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural designs using AutoCAD and relevant design software
• Participate in project planning, providing structural input on timelines and resource requirements
• Oversee general site activities, including but not limited to structural works, to ensure compliance with project objectives
• Monitor daily construction progress and ensure alignment with approved drawings, standards, Program of Work (POW), and safety requirements
• Provide solutions to technical and on-site challenges to avoid delays or cost overruns
• Prepare detailed site supervision and compliance reports for management
• Work closely with other engineers, builders, and the Project Management team to achieve seamless project delivery
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables while safeguarding cost and quality objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputable university
• COREN registration (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in structural design and general site supervision
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural software (e.g., StaadPro, Orion, Prokon)
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and site practices
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and reporting skills

N500,000 - N600,000 per month
