## Title: Store Officer
About the Role
Sunrise Universal Integrated Supermarket is seeking a qualified Store Officer to manage inventory operations and ensure efficient stock management across our retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit outlet stock requests to the inventory officer for timely supply
- Receive and store stocks in accordance with company guidelines
- Conduct daily reconciliation of stock levels both physically and in the system
- Run daily comparisons between outlet stock and warehouse inventory to determine supply needs
- Perform twice-weekly stock balance reviews across outlets to prevent overstocking and optimize distribution
- Conduct periodic age analysis of stocks and report to management on inventory status, particularly items nearing expiration
- Perform regular stock and inventory reconciliation to prevent stockouts
- Maintain proper arrangement and organization of the store to prevent damage and theft
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive inventory records
- Control store access and prevent unauthorized entry
- Issue stock according to first-in-first-out (FIFO) method or as directed by management
- Ensure strict compliance with all food and beverage safety and health guidelines
Required Qualifications
- HND or B.Sc. in Purchasing and Supply or related field
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role
Required Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and record management skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office
