Position Overview: - The Stock Transfer Officer is responsible for coordinating and controlling internal stock movements to ensure accuracy, accountability, and proper documentation. The role supports inventory integrity through verification, inspection, and timely resolution of discrepancies during stock transfers. Key Responsibilities: - Process internal stock transfer requisitions, ensuring requests are reviewed and approved in line with company procedures. - Physically verify and inspect items being dispatched to confirm they match the approved transfer orders in quantity and specification. - Monitor stock movement and identify discrepancies or errors during transfer activities. - Investigate, document, and resolve transfer discrepancies, escalating issues where necessary. - Maintain accurate records of all stock transfers and related approvals. - Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and operations teams to ensure smooth stock movement. Requirements: - Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - Entry level or minimum of one (1) year relevant experience. - Basic understanding of inventory control and stock management processes. - Computer savvy, with the ability to maintain records and prepare basic reports. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - High level of integrity and accountability.
