## Title: Stock Control Officer
About the Role
ESOSA Food System is seeking a qualified Stock Control Officer to manage inventory operations, customer transactions, and documentation at our Lagos facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive bread from the slicing department and issue products to customers according to orders
- Arrange, count, and track loaves received and issued
- Receive invoices and payment receipts from customers; issue dispatch forms and delivery notes
- Record customer, Sales Representative, and distributor information with quantities in the analysis book
- Transfer daily sales data from the analysis book to the dispatch control sheet by end of day
- Direct customers to appropriate offices for payment and complaint resolution
- Monitor inventory levels, anticipate delivery requirements, and place orders as needed
- Inform customers of product availability and delivery status; respond to inquiries
- Reconcile sales records with received inventory; ensure closing stock matches physical inventory
- Process damaged items, shortages, and substandard products returned by customers following established procedures
- Provide efficient service to customers, Sales Representatives, and distributors to minimize wait times
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all received and issued products
- Reconcile records with the slicing section to ensure balance and accuracy
- Submit daily dispatch control sheets and activity reports to the auditor
- Prepare hard-to-sell inventory forms and inventory level reports for administrative decision-making
- Issue rations, promotional items, and samples according to standard procedures and authorized tickets
- Pursue professional development through training and educational opportunities
- Work toward organizational goals by fulfilling requests and identifying ways to add value
