About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Steel Fabrication Welder. In this role, you will be responsible for tack-welding and welding components and assemblies using various welding equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Cut work pieces using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of welding machines and tools

Required Skills and Competencies

• Skilled in using basic workshop tools, including grinders, TIG and MIG welding equipment, air tools, sanders, and oxy-acetylene equipment
• Ability to use various welding tools and fitting equipment
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to HSEQ standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and professional experience in welding and fabrication
• Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication
• Previous experience in the steel fabrication sector is a plus
• Proximity to Illupeju, Oshodi area (Lagos)

Compensation

Salary is negotiable and attractive based on experience.
