Role Summary
- The Station Manager is responsible for the overall management of station operations, including sales performance, staff supervision, inventory control, safety compliance, and customer service.
- The role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and sound commercial judgment.
- Oversee daily operations of the fuel station to ensure uninterrupted and efficient service delivery.
- Manage station staff including pump attendants, supervisors, and support personnel; ensure discipline, proper scheduling, anda performance management.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispensing of petroleum products in line with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor fuel stock levels, prevent product losses, and reconcile daily sales, cash, and inventory records.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, NMDPRA regulations, and company policies.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Liaise with depot, logistics, and head office teams to ensure timely product supply.
- Maintain station assets, equipment, and facilities in good working condition.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure security of station premises, products, cash, and staff at all times.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 3 - 7 years experience in fuel station operations or retail management within the oil & gas downstream sector.
- Strong understanding of station operations, cash management, and inventory controls.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory requirements in the downstream oil and gas industry.
- Proven leadership and people-management skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools.
