## Title: Spare Parts Procurement Officer

Position Overview

Ascentech Services Limited is urgently seeking a Procurement Officer with strong SAP ERP expertise and proven experience in spare parts procurement. This role offers excellent opportunities for career growth while supporting efficient sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of materials and spare parts while maintaining cost control, compliance, and accurate system documentation.

Salary

₦300,000 – ₦350,000 (Monthly)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of spare parts, consumables, and operational materials
  • Create and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and GRNs using SAP ERP
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and pricing in SAP
  • Monitor stock levels of spare parts and coordinate replenishment to avoid downtime
  • Liaise with maintenance, stores, and finance teams to align procurement needs
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes
  • Track supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues promptly
  • Support audits by providing procurement documentation and reports
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a procurement role
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in spare parts procurement, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Good understanding of inventory control and vendor management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent procurement timelines
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
