Spare Parts Officer at Enviable Transport Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Spare Parts Officer to manage our spare parts inventory, ensure timely procurement, and maintain optimal stock levels for smooth operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of vehicle components, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control spare parts inventory and stock levels
• Identify and order necessary parts to support maintenance and repair operations
• Maintain accurate records of all parts received, issued, and returned
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
• Assist in forecasting spare parts requirements based on usage and service schedules
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of parts for easy retrieval
• Prepare reports on parts usage, costs, and availability

Requirements

• OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in spare parts management (automotive, transport, or logistics industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and components
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
