  • Clinix Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. We are committed to providing high-quality ultrasound services and excellent patient care, and we are looking for a professional passionate about performing accurate diagnostic ultrasounds, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting clinicians with reliable imaging for better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, vascular, small parts, and other specialized scans as required. 
  • Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently, adjust settings for optimal image quality, and ensure proper use of transducers and probes. 
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, position them appropriately, and provide reassurance to minimize anxiety and discomfort. 
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic images, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and document results accurately for radiologist review or reporting. 
  • Adhere strictly to ultrasound safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient privacy regulations. 
  • Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. 
  • Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information. 
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, record-keeping, and continuous improvement of imaging services. 
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, maintain patient confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards in practice.
Requirements: & Skills
  • Experienced Sonographer with strong technical skills in diagnostic ultrasound and excellent pattern recognition abilities. 
  • Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to produce high-quality images efficiently. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical teams. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and maintain composure in a busy clinical environment. 
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, radiation/sonography safety, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Medical Radiography, Medical Sonography, or related field from an accredited institution. 
  • Full registration and valid practicing license with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN). 
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic ultrasound, with proven competence ...
