Sonographer

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Key Responsibilities: - Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce clear and informative diagnostic images. - Review images to ensure quality and identify any abnormalities that may require further investigation. - Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them comfortably, and applying ultrasound gel. - Maintain detailed patient records, documenting examination findings and technical parameters. - Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, providing preliminary exam results and observations. - Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment. - Stay up to date on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and procedures. - May perform additional duties as assigned, which could include assisting with research projects or training new staff. Job Requirements - First Degree in Radiography - PGD in ultrasound - 2-4 years of previous experience as a Sonographer - A license to practice. - Observes confidentiality both with patient information and co-workers. - Ability to connect with several types of patients. - Attention to detail and skill in proper patient identification.
