## Title: Solar Home System Installer
About the Role
An established company is recruiting for a Solar Home System Installer to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission SHS components (solar panels, batteries, DC appliances, wiring, etc.) per company and manufacturer standards
- Troubleshoot system faults and escalate where necessary
- Follow all safety and compliance procedures during installations
- Provide basic training to end users on SHS system usage and maintenance
- Document completed work, tools used, and customer feedback
- Communicate field updates to sales supervisors and team leads
- Support proper inventory handling and product care
Requirements
- Minimum of O-Level (WAEC or NECO) certification
- OND or Technical Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Electrical installation certification (Trade Test, NABTEB, or equivalent)
- 1–3 years of proven experience in solar system installation, especially with SHS and off-grid projects
- Familiarity with DC wiring, PV modules, inverters, charge controllers, and battery systems
