Job Summary

Carlcare Development is seeking a skilled Solar Energy Engineer to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar power systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial use
• Conduct site assessments and prepare technical proposals
• Install, test, and commission solar power systems
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar installations
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
• Prepare technical reports, system documentation, and performance analysis
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams
• Stay updated on new solar technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with solar PV systems
• Strong understanding of solar system design, wiring, inverters, and electrical components
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
