## Title: Social & Behaviour Change Communication Officer

Overall Responsibilities

Community Mobilization

  • Plan and execute community entry activities including mapping, identification of key influencers and targets, and stakeholder engagements
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping to identify influencers, partners, and potential antagonists; develop and implement engagement plans for effective stakeholder relationships and support
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of contacts including local leaders from government, non-government, religious, and community sectors relevant to MSI Nigeria's work
  • Develop and implement mobilization plans that identify target groups, timing, rationale, locations, and methodologies
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, media outlets, and partners that impact MSI Nigeria's operations

Community-Based Organization (CBO) Management

  • Identify Community Based Organizations, relevant bodies, and partners for demand generation in target communities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive capacity building plans for CBOs, town announcers, Ward Development Associations, Ward Development Committees, and Youth Champions
  • Lead implementation of robust communication strategies for effective sensitization and stigma reduction through stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure full implementation of MSI Nigeria's community engagement strategy across all channels of operation
  • Lead demand creation, generation, marketing, and client uptake of MSI Nigeria's products and services
  • Conduct mobilization activities with target groups guided by channel strategy and MSI Nigeria's demand generation strategy to increase service uptake
  • Prepare and design monthly activity plans aligned with state, regional, and national activities
  • Collaborate with key government stakeholders at local and state levels, including reproductive health coordinators, Primary Health Centre officers, and Health Department heads
  • Conduct advocacy meetings and engagements as required
