Job Summary

We are seeking a Skilled Welder to join our maintenance team at an agricultural feeds production company located along the Ibadan–Lagos expressway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal structures, machinery, and production equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on machinery, plant structures, and production equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on feed production machines and structural components
• Operate and maintain welding tools, grinders, and cutting equipment safely
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, durability, and compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to support production efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety and company standards during all welding operations

Requirements

• Minimum of Trade Test Certificate or Technical Diploma in Welding or Metal Fabrication
• 3–5 years of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple repair tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
