Skilled Maintenance Personnel

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Position Overview: - We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Personnel to ensure the proper upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems. - The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to guarantee a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff. - Repair or replace defective equipment, fixtures, and fittings. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of tools and supplies. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Assist in setting up equipment or facilities for events and functions. - Report major maintenance issues or hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and storage areas. - Support other departments with technical assistance as required. Required Qualifications: & Skills - OND, HND, or vocational/technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related field. - Proven experience in hotel, facility, or property maintenance (preferred). - Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. - Ability to read and understand technical manuals and safety procedures. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Physically fit with the ability to lift, bend, and work in varying conditions. - Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. - Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
