Job description
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to oversee all projects and ensure quality.
- Supervise and oversee daily construction activities on-site.
- Ensure work is executed according to project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations.
- Manage site labor and ensure the availability of required materials and equipment.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly to avoid delays.
- Liaise with the project manager and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Maintain site records, including daily logs, inventory, and equipment usage.
- Create designs, drawings, specification and blueprints for Projects
- Ensure project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
- Taking up tasks on-site and hands-on approach to ensure task are completed efficiently and effectively without much supervision.
- Oversees the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements.
- Source materials and products included in plans.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports.
- Provide regular status reports to Project Manager and Management
- Send monthly report to Management.
- Carry out any other duty as assigned.
- A minimum of a OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Building / Construction Technology or other relevant fields.
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role in architectural or construction industry is an added advantage.
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Relevant certifications in construction management, Quality Survey, HSE or Project management are advantageous.
- Master Degree is an added advantage
- Excellent organizational skills including time management, planning, meeting deadlines, and setting objectives.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members and other colleagues.
- Ability to develop strong internal/external client relationships
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
