Site Engineer/ Builder

About the Role

Nanoy Homes Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site. You will be responsible for ensuring quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site
• Read, interpret, and implement construction drawings and specifications accurately
• Coordinate artisans, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
• Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with building standards and regulations
• Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment on site
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
• Prepare site reports and provide regular progress updates to management
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues promptly
• Liaise with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in construction or building projects
• HND or Bachelor's degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
• Strong supervision, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines
• Knowledge of safety procedures and site management best practices

Added Advantages

• Experience with residential or commercial building projects
• Basic knowledge of project costing or material estimation
• Familiarity with Nigerian building codes and regulations
• Computer literacy (AutoCAD or basic site documentation tools)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
