About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a reputable architectural and construction firm in Ilorin, Kwara. The role requires hands-on experience in overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design plans and project specifications
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and quality standards on site
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to resolve site issues
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports
• Manage resources, materials, and equipment efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports
• Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures
• Support junior engineers and site staff in project execution
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and quality standards

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, Excel, and other construction management tools
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer in construction or architectural projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Must reside within close proximity to Ilorin, Kwara
