Job Objective
The Showroom Assistant will assist the Showroom Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a high-end luxury furniture showroom. The individual is responsible for creating an inviting showroom environment, hosting client meetings, and ensuring a premium customer experience. This role will report directly to the Showroom Manager.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and confident—able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and adhering to the organisation's core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily showroom operations
- Create and maintain an inviting, premium showroom environment
- Host client meetings and consultations
- Deliver exceptional customer service to high-end clients
- Coordinate event management and showroom presentations
- Manage visual merchandising and showroom display
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Sales, Marketing)
- 2+ years of experience in retail or showroom management, ideally in the furniture or luxury goods sector
- Excellent customer management skills and ability to build strong client relationships
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in IT systems and software, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Prior experience or knowledge of the furniture industry
- Event management and coordination experience
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and showroom presentation
- Strong negotiation and sales closing skills
