Shop Assistant - Ibadan at CSi Grocery

About the Role

CSi Grocery seeks a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team in Ibadan. You will be the face of our store, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining store operations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to all walk-in customers with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist customers in locating products and suggest alternatives when appropriate
• Share product knowledge and identify upselling opportunities
• Process cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain well-arranged shelves and restock merchandise as needed
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store
• Record sales, customer requests, and feedback
• Participate in inventory checks and monitor product expiry dates
• Support the store manager and collaborate effectively with team members

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: SSCE/WAEC
• 0–2 years of work experience
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous
• Fluent in English and Yoruba
• Must reside close to Ring Road or have reliable daily transportation
