Shift Supervisor (Food/Retail) at So Fresh Neighbourhood Market

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Shift Supervisor to provide leadership and oversee daily outlet operations. You will be responsible for maximizing profit while minimizing costs, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations and team management
• Maintain hygiene standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Enforce adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures related to food production and outlet operations
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality policies, and company standard recipes and measurements
• Monitor and optimize product and service quality, operating costs, customer satisfaction, and safety procedures
• Assess resource requirements during peak hours and schedule staff appropriately
• Follow up to ensure all point-of-sale transactions are closed at the promised time
• Manage team member well-being, health, and leave processes
• Allocate and approve overtime hours when necessary
• Coach and mentor team members to achieve excellent results
• Conduct training on equipment operation, work procedures, and safety protocols for new hires

Required Qualifications

• Minimum OND, HND, or BSc qualification
• 3–5 years of experience in the food/retail industry
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the food/retail industry
• Excellent record-keeping and supervisory skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside close to the work location in Ikoyi
