## Title: Senior Sales Representative
About the Role
Smartflow Technologies Limited is seeking a qualified Senior Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in the oil and gas sector. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute sales strategies, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to our organization's continued success across Eastern Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve sales volume and revenue targets as defined in the business plan
- Generate and close leads by identifying potential clients, engaging prospects, presenting solutions, and finalizing deals
- Track key sales metrics, analyze performance, and prepare timely and accurate reports for management
- Create and send proposals, quotes, and other sales documentation to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to foster trust and loyalty
- Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and leads in the CRM system
- Provide prompt reporting of activities to your supervisor
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication, align sales strategies with business objectives, and provide comprehensive support for customer needs and service delivery
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure strategic marketing awareness and marketing initiatives across the region
- Develop initiatives to push sales and product awareness of the company's products and services
- Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, product availability, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities
- Meet with stakeholders in the oil and gas sector
- Attend industry events, conferences, and tradeshows to enhance brand visibility, network, and generate leads
- Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in any field
- Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in the oil and gas sector
- Existing customer base in the relevant industry (advantageous)
- Excellent knowledge of Eastern Nigeria region
- Must reside in Port Harcourt
- Willing to travel around Eastern Nigeria (approximately 40%)
- Strong understanding of sales processes and client management
