Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead our sales efforts in promoting our range of buses, trucks, and trailers for Lagos and Western operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry or automotive sector, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as their primary point of contact
  • Identify new business opportunities to increase heavy-duty truck sales effectively
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Liaise with body builders in Lagos for third-party body building on company products
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional strategies for company products
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and network with potential clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in heavy-duty truck sales or a related automotive sales role
  • Strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry and market dynamics
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions
