## Title: Senior Sales Executive - Securities Trading

About the Role

An Asset Management Company is seeking a proactive, performance-driven Senior Sales Executive to join their Securities Trading team. This senior-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic sales team and engage directly with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and institutional clients.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the company's revenue growth by expanding institutional and high-net-worth individual client portfolios. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, originating and closing transactions, and deepening client relationships to increase Assets Under Management (AUM), brokerage income, and cross-sell opportunities across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients for securities trading products
  • Manage and grow assigned client portfolios through consistent engagement and superior service delivery
  • Execute sales strategies that align with business goals and contribute to revenue growth
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends in the capital market
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and increased trading activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Research, Trading, and Operations) to ensure seamless client experience
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (SEC, NGX) and internal policies
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales performance reports

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in sales of securities or investment products within a licensed capital market firm
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and trading operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
