About the Role
This position reports directly to the Team Lead Planning and is accountable for delivering and maintaining risk management and Management of Change (MoC) processes across all project phases. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, planning responses to, and monitoring the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies for Nigeria Deepwater Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain standard, consistent, and realistic risk management frameworks to identify, evaluate, and plan responses to potential opportunities and threats to project objectives
- Perform probabilistic cost and schedule risk analyses
- Deliver and maintain standard and consistent Management of Change (MoC) processes from initiation to close-out
- Set focused goals to deliver best-in-class competitive projects for Nigeria Deepwater Projects
- Collaborate with the Risk Management Network on standardization, tools calibration, data collection, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure alignment of all internal and external stakeholders with key opportunity and project strategies and anticipated results
- Drive collaboration across multiple project teams and work streams
Project Scope
You will support opportunities and projects across multiple phases, including:
- Block bidding, deal, and exploration activities
- Greenfield and brownfield developments
- Decommissioning projects
- Project phases from Identify, Assess, Select, Define, Execute, to Decommissioning
Key Stakeholders
You will collaborate with Project Teams, Discipline Engineering, Portfolio Managers, Operations & Commissioning, Wells, Development, Contracts & Procurement, Finance, HR, Commercial, Legal, HSSE, Assets, Decommissioning, Technical Planning, Group Project Services, Vendors, Contractors, NUIMS, NUPRC, and Co-Venturers.
Key Requirements
- Experience in risk management and Management of Change processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with multiple project team compositions
- Credibility and experience to influence across technical and business functions
- Knowledge of probabilistic analysis methods
- Experience in oil and gas projects or complex capital project environments
