Senior Reservoir Engineer at Hobark International Limited (HIL)

About the Role

This position provides the critical linkage and understanding of reservoir management, production optimization, and initiatives within the subsurface and surface production disciplines. You will enable a comprehensive understanding of downhole events and their relation to surface well behavior.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservoir engineering functions and production optimization initiatives
• Coordinate between subsurface and surface production disciplines
• Monitor and analyze downhole events and their impact on surface well performance
• Conduct nodal analyses and well surveillance activities
• Interface with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders on reservoir management matters

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Related Technical Disciplines
• Minimum of 15 years of core experience in Production Technology/Engineering

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of IPM-GAP, Prosper, OFM, and SAPHIR software
• Well surveillance and monitoring
• Nodal analyses
• Inflow and outflow performance assessment
• Conceptual completion design and understanding of completion services interfaces
• MER (Mandatory Education Requirements) coordination and interface management with DPR (Department of Petroleum Resources)
